A Life Between the Shelves

Erasmus paints blue-white scenes from Rudolph van Richten's life into the air between Faith's Library's shelves while Ignatius watches.

Scene

Erasmus reveals fragments of his father’s life in Faith’s Library: childhood, family, scholarship, alchemy, herbalism, and disappearance into the Shroud. A final distant image shows an unidentified half-elf bard performing in Barovia.

Artistic interpretation

The memories have been arranged together for readability. Their sequence reflects the vision, but precise faces, ages, clothing, and environments remain interpretive. The distant bard is intentionally ambiguous.
