Carver kneels before Chip, a luminous cat spirit forming from blue-white Shroud mist within an amber ritual circle, while Rage and Ignatius watch from the shadows.

Scene

At Richten House, Carver draws upon the Shroud, remnants of the treant-like creature, and the spirit of a lost friend to manifest his catlike Eldritch Cannon. When Ignatius asks the new spirit’s name, it answers: “Chip.”

Artistic interpretation

Chip’s spectral feline appearance is canonical. The ritual circle, laboratory arrangement, and precise visibility of the party are interpretive.
