Scene

Carver bargains with Clenis over three iron Boom Sticks as an ordinary commercial exchange becomes something far worse. Behind them, a toe on the human foot hanging from Rage’s trophy chain twitches. Rage responds by eating the foot while Clenis and his workers look on in horror.

Artistic interpretation

Clenis’s appearance, the workshop, the laborers, the precise Boom Stick design, and the positioning of the negotiation are interpretive. Rage and Carver follow their canonical visual references. The accepted version was cleaned to remove a pervasive embossed, watermark-like microtexture while preserving the original composition.
