Emerging from the forest, the party finds Rivalis divided by the advancing Shroud. Refugees and lanterns crowd the surviving streets while homes and towers disappear beneath the supernatural curtain.

Artistic interpretation

The elevated viewpoint, arrangement of the riders, exact skyline, and visible refugee encampment are interpretive. The image serves as the canonical Session 12 cover and preserves the established appearances of the party, Chip, and Buddy’s single injured arm.
