The Room Dies with Its King

Depicted moment
Ignatius drives a necrotic Hand of Harm into the mouldering crowned colossus while the false grandeur of its throne room dies around them, revealing a much smaller and more dilapidated chamber.
Artistic interpretation
The composition shows both states of the room at once to make the transformation visible. Whether that change was illusion, conjuration, displaced reality, or some other power of Castle Avernus remains unresolved.
