Depicted moment

Artistic interpretation

The alley’s rain, lanterns, guard armor, and the characters’ exact defensive positions are visual staging. The image compresses the fight’s sudden opening without establishing who was struck by the blade or the guards’ eventual fate.

Canonical status

Accepted Session 22 artwork. It preserves Rage’s single-headed greataxe, Carver’s adult tabaxi scale and compact crossbow, and Ignatius’s unarmed martial posture.
