On the road near Vallaki, Ignatius tests whether the strange gray travelers are warm and alive. Rage and Carver keep watch as the colorless but living residents continue toward the bridge.

Canonical status

This is canonical Session 24 art. The travelers are depicted as living, distant people—not undead or monsters. Their number, the weather, and the bridge-and-town composition are interpretive staging of the party’s approach to Vallaki.
