Book Club was Fire

Depicted moment
Ignatius closes with Izek as the ashen defender raises an axe in his clawed bestial arm. Across the room, Chip pours spectral flame into Fiona Watcher while her magic compels Rage to flee around the dining table with the red-tinted Sun Blade in hand.
Artistic interpretation
The illustration compresses several overlapping exchanges of the battle into one readable tableau: Ignatius’s close combat with Izek, Rage’s compelled flight, and the flamethrower strike that killed Fiona. The dining-room layout, precise positions, breaking golden aura, and visible thread of compulsion are interpretive staging.
Canonical status
This is canonical Session 25 art. It establishes Izek’s transformed limb as one coherent furred animal-like arm ending in a clawed paw capable of holding his axe. Chip remains wholly spectral and projects the Flamethrower directly from his feline form; Rage’s fear is magical compulsion rather than a voluntary retreat.
Alt text
In a decaying aristocratic dining room, the black dragonborn monk Ignatius grapples at close quarters with the ashen Izek, whose single furred bestial arm grips a tall axe in a clawed paw. A small blue-white spectral cat named Chip projects a broad sheet of orange fire into Fiona Watcher as her golden protective aura fractures. Behind them, the towering bearded Rage runs around the dining table while looking back in alarm, holding a red energy blade low at his side.
