The House Invites Him In

Rage reaches toward Ignatius as the dragonborn is pulled into Watcher House beneath staring stained-glass windows, with the abandoned wine barrel beside the steps.

Depicted moment

Watcher House beckons Ignatius back and swallows him while Rage turns toward the danger. The barrel remains outside. From Session 27: The House That Swallowed Them.

Artistic interpretation

The visible violet pull and suspended pose represent instantaneous supernatural transportation. The eye-shaped window details, weather, architecture, and compressed distances are interpretive. At the user’s request, Rage’s portrait cape is omitted from this composition to keep attention on the action; this does not represent its loss or removal from his equipment.

Canonical status

Session 27 illustration, preserving the established campaign character references. Narrative events are canonical; incidental staging and the visual treatment of supernatural effects are interpretive.
