Through the Mists

The Stairwell Holds

Rage unleashes thunder as Izek and Ignatius hold the basement doorway; Carver casts behind them and spectral Chip breathes fire while a cultist slips on the greased stairs.

Depicted moment

The arriving cultists surge up Watcher House’s basement stairs. Izek and the company meet them at the doorway with axe, fists, thunder, grease, and Chip’s flames. From Session 27: The House That Swallowed Them.

Artistic interpretation

The illustration compresses several attacks from the stairwell fight into one composition. The staircase geometry, cultist clothing and positions, and visible shockwave are interpretive. Rage’s portrait cape is out of view to keep the action clear. The house has not yet animated or begun burning.

Canonical status

Session 27 illustration using the established campaign portraits. The documented fight is canonical; incidental staging and spell effects are artistic interpretation.
