The vampires recoiled from the sunlight, but two would escape. From Session 29: Sunlight and an Invitation.

Artistic interpretation

Tight framing shows three of the six vampires during the fight. Other combatants remain outside the frame; the sword hilt and attic architecture are interpretive.
