Slippery Siv Is Back

Depicted moment
Carver reads the scroll of greater restoration in the Castle Avernus Treasury. The curse releases Siv, leaving a short, slight adult human burglar where the dog-like mongrelman had stood. Rage, Ooru, and Ignatius witness the transformation as Siv announces that Slippery Siv is back.
Artistic interpretation
The golden bipedal mongrelman behind human Siv is a symbolic afterimage showing the form stripped away by the spell, not a separate creature or lingering ghost. The visible web of restoration magic and its golden color are interpretive.
Canonical status
Accepted Session 16 artwork and canonical visual reference for Siv’s restored human appearance. His dog-like mongrelman form remains canonical only for scenes before this restoration.
Alt text
In Castle Avernus’s treasure-filled chamber, the tabaxi artificer Carver kneels with a spent scroll glowing between his hands. A short, wiry human burglar in ragged black prison clothes stands at the center, smiling with wary relief. Immediately behind him, a golden translucent afterimage of the same figure as an upright, dog-headed mongrelman dissolves into magical strands. Rage, Ooru, and Ignatius watch nearby.
