The Attic Coffins Open

Siv opens an attic coffin as two tentacled, vampiric-looking aberrations emerge while the party prepares to fight.

Depicted moment

At Black Lily’s Manor, Slippery Siv opens an attic coffin. A tentacled, vampiric-looking aberration rises from it as a second appears from the other horizontal coffin. Rage, Ignatius, and Carver close in to fight.

Artistic interpretation

The attic’s shape, the creatures’ precise anatomy, the lantern, and the party’s exact fighting positions are visual staging. The upright coffin remains closed in the background, matching the unresolved state of the notes.

Canonical status

Accepted Session 20 artwork. It preserves Siv as fully restored human, Rage’s single-headed greataxe and vanished trophy-necklace state, Ignatius’s unarmed martial presentation, and Carver’s compact crossbow and feline identity.

Alt text

In a moonlit manor attic, restored human burglar Slippery Siv opens a long wooden coffin as a pale tentacled humanoid creature rises from it. A second creature climbs from another coffin while Rage raises a greataxe, Ignatius takes an unarmed stance, and Carver aims a compact crossbow; a third upright coffin remains closed behind them.
