After the party tells Captain Snowmane that Rivalis has fallen partly to the Mists and undead are rampant, the River Dancer’s boards swell into vines and living wood. Rage, Ignatius, and Carver witness her reaction.

The specific lounge arrangement, amount and form of foliage, and the party’s exact positions are visual staging. The vines and living grain communicate the notes’ description of ship boards answering Snowmane’s spell; they do not establish a broader explanation for her magic.

Canonical status

Accepted Session 21 artwork. It establishes Snowmane’s living-wood magic as vines and awakened ship timber in an emotionally charged, noncombat scene. It preserves Rage’s towering scale and calming posture, Ignatius’s guarded calm, and Carver as a full-size adult tabaxi who is shortest in the party without appearing unusually small.
