- Carver recognized them as coins that had passed through the Darklord’s personal coffers.
- They entered Rage’s proceeds from selling Ooru’s spices.
- Black Lily possessed another Azalin-faced coin and used it as a Mist talisman keyed to central Martira Bay.
- A sealed chamber beneath Castle Avernus held chests full of further Azalin-faced coins.
- Carver found no magic on that larger cache. The party did not record taking any of those coins during Session 16.
- The party used one of its Azalin-faced coins while entering the early Mists and emerged at the north end of Martira Bay.
Custodian
The party’s remaining count is unrecorded after using an Azalin-faced coin to return to Martira Bay. Black Lily carries at least one separate coin that functions as his Martira Bay talisman.
