Acquisition
An unnamed halfling pickpocket surrendered the vial to Rage after being caught attempting to rob him near the Crystal Gardens.
Custodian
Carver carries the vial on behalf of the party. It is treated as communal party loot rather than his personal item.
Second set of ashes
In Neblus, Rage dug beneath a gravestone paving the street and found a twine-wrapped package of burned remains. The party placed some ash in another vial to serve as a second talisman, though its custodian and whether it has been tested remain unrecorded.
